Amazing Adventures to the Nobel Peace Center and North Pole

Our speaker will be Past-President Pete Mokler who's recent trip to Scandinavia included a visit to the Alfred Nobel Peace Center in Oslo, Norway.  Drawing on exhibits there, Pete will talk about this year's Nobel Peace laureates Nadia Murad  and Dr. Denis Mukwege and their extraordinary struggles against state sponsored sexual abuse as a weapon of war, and explore other ways that the Nobel organization promotes peace throughout the world.

 

On a lighter note, Pete will also present a bit of travelogue of sights and experiences from Svalbard, Oslo and Copenhagen.
