The Rotary Club of San Pedro will be installing its first ever Peace/Buddy Bench to prevent bullying and educate the student body on methods of conflict resolution. Rotary stands by this proactive, peace building attitude, and the organization intends to support any school or park that wants to enhance their peace education programs. Along with the bench, which is made by LAUSD students at Banneker Career and Transition Center, qualifying schools and parks are provided support in designing and implementing anti-bullying programs within their jurisdiction.
