The installation of the new Board was held on June 25, 2015 at the Ports O'Call Restaurant.  Anthony Vulin was our charismatic Master of Ceremonies.  PDG Dave Moyers had a tough act to follow, but once again, did not disappoint!   With much pomp and circumstance  he thanked the outgoing Board, welcomed then new one, and knighted incoming president, Val Hatley, hereinafter to be referred to as "Sir Val."

Immediate Past President Arlene Dickey presented Anthony with a fitting gift of a crystal globe to commemorate 25 years of  mystery trips that took us to wondrous places in and about our town, and places beyond.  This signature Rotary Club of San Pedro fellowship event was a team effort that could not have been possible without the help and support of his wife Paula, and the Hildebrandts.  Thank you for the incredible and unforgettable memories!

It was no surprise that Arlene's choice for Rotarian of the Year was new member Matt Schauer.  It's not often -- most likely downright impossible -- for a new member to get this prestigious award.  Matt took the bull by the horns and tackled the daunting task of activating our website, and also organized our club's participation in our town's Christmas parade, handled the procurement of supplies for our first-ever Crab Feed fundraiser, and attended RYLA in preparation for his upcoming role of Youth Activities Chair.  Congratulations on a well-deserved award!  If Matt stays on for another three months, he'll have a year's perfect attendance, too.

PDG Dave also presented a three-ruby Paul Harris Fellow Pin to Steve Holmstrom.  Thank you, Steve!  Your generosity through the years touched the lives of so many people!

Outgoing  Secretary Rica Viola presented the Certificates of Perfect Attendance to Nancy Negron & Linda Klingner (1 year), Andrea Clark & Rica Viola (7), Helene Pizzini (15), Mike Sokolich (27), Steve Holmstrom (29), and Anthony Vulin (34)
