Greetings Friends!
- No meeting this week folks! We will be heading to the Hollywood Bowl Thursday evening to see Mozart and Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto performed by the LA Philharmonic. It's going to be magnificent! Here's the itinerary:
- Check with Helene if you're not sure if you signed up. Bring $20 cash per person to pay for your ticket and food.
- Meet at Averill Park at 4:30 pm on the 14th Street side. Park across from the park to avoid parking limits.
- We’ll have a picnic in the park. Bring your own drinks; we provide the food.
- We’ll hop on a private bus and head to the Bowl at promptly at 5:45 pm.
- We'll return to Averill Park just after 11:00 pm.
- EXCITING NEWS!! We have a membership Proposal for Jen (Pronounced “Yahn”) Stenstrom, a former Rotarian from New York and New Jersey! We first met Jen at our Community Leaders Luncheon, and he has attended several meetings since. He is a civil engineer, and has lived in San Pedro for many years now.
- If you have any questions or concerns, please direct them to Matt before July 27 12pm for clarification.
- If there are no objections before this time, we will install invite Jen to be installed at the next available club meeting.
- Our first service event will be cleaning up the Boys & Girls Club on August 4. Please join us, and bring a friend! More details below.
- Your participation in club functions is critical! If you have something you'd like us to take on, please connect with Matt or any of the board members now so we can try to pursue it!
