Ah summertime.. Don't you love getting out and enjoying our delightful southern California?
Hollywood Bowl last week was a treat and the Day at the Park music event was sublime. Music speaks to many of us, but socialization speaks to all of us.
- Join us at the Whale and Ale at 6pm for our 4th Thursday evening fellowship night. More details on the event page, but as Leon described, it's bound to be a great time! Low key environment with flexible times, so bring a friend and don't worry if you have to leave early! Remember: bring Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue.
- EXCITING NEWS!! We have a membership proposal for Jan (Pronounced “Yahn”) Stenstrom, a former Rotarian from New York and New Jersey! We first met Jen at our Community Leaders Luncheon, and he has attended several meetings since. He is a civil engineer, and has lived in San Pedro for many years now.
- If you have any questions or concerns, please direct them to Matt before July 27 12pm for clarification.
- If there are no objections before this time, we will install invite Jan to be installed at the next available club meeting.
- Our next service event will be cleaning up the Boys & Girls Club on August 4. More details on the event page, but we're so excited to partner with such a great organization, locally and nationally! Please join us, and invite that business partner you've been wanting to see more outside the office!
