The NW Neighborhood Council's annual Pathways to Employment event is this Saturday, April 6th! If you haven't signed up to volunteer yet, let Matt or Helene know asap!

Reminder that this year the event is at the BOYS & GIRLS CLUB located at 1200 S. Cabrillo Ave, San Pedro. You may need to park a block or two away so please allow for time to park.

The afternoon session includes an opportunity to be a practice interviewer or to advertise your organization from 1:30 - 3:30 in the facility gymnasium. If you want to do either, sign up now! You can arrive around 1:15pm to set up, or you can get there early and relax in the Presenters Lounge where food, coffee, tea, and drinks will be available. If you want to table, you'll be provided a 6 foot table, 4 chairs, and wifi internet access. Please bring your organization table cloth, handouts, and any swag items you may have available.

The total youth attendance this year is estimated to be between 130 - 160, though we hope to reach out goal of 200!

A detailed overview of the day, an advertisement, and more are all located here.

Remember, if you know a young person who might benefit from this incredible event building both soft and hard skills as they begin their lives as an adult, make sure they sign up to attend this incredible (and free!) event!
