Happy Tuesday Everyone!

This Thursday is our 4th Thursday evening fellowship soiree at the Whale and Ale, but with a different table layout. And not only do you get to enjoy a couple hours of informal social hour with great people, but there are business and mentoring opportunities associated with the evening too!

Here's how:
  • Business
A lot of members join Rotary because it helps business. Regularly getting together, especially at informal gatherings, encourages cultivating and facilitating business relationships with other Rotarians. How many times have we said, "Wow! I didn't know that!"  Well, now you will know --  here's a chance for business owners, employees, members, and guests to connect on a personal level.

  • Mentoring
This is also an opportunity for members to encourage and support one another. A mentor isn't always an older mentor, younger protege. Sometimes it's the opposite. Mentoring -- i.e. helping each other -- is a really important ingredient for a successful career and a fulfilling life, and Rotary can enable mentoring relationships.

Here are some other important items to keep on your radar!
  • Service Opportunity!
    • Our next Rise Against Hunger event is October 6 from 9am-12:30pm! Register here NOW before space fills up! (more details below)
