The LAMI Youth Crew reducing ocean plastic pollution
The Marine Biology/Environmental Club at Ánimo High School is composed of Latino/a students from Lennox, California. Our goal and challenge is to inform the public about plastic ocean pollution and to involve them in solutions such as recycling, single use plastic reduction, and innovations to help reduce environmental degradation through the use of plastic substitutes and biodegradable plastics.
