International Service

One of the goals of Rotary is to have a positive impact on the world community.

The following are examples of international projects that the Rotary Club of San Pedro has participated in the past or plans to participate in the near future:

  • Migori Water and Sanitation Project in Kenya

To provide reliable, clean water, hand wash stations and latrines to eight primary schools in Migori County, Kenya. With over 3,500 students and no source of clean water on campus, these schools only had access to polluted water from sources up to 1.5 miles away. The grant money was used for roof gutters, two 2,500 gallon water tanks, a hand wash station, and a 2 door latrine.

Adugo Primary School and the Ayego Clinic benefited from this project.
